St. Paul admonishes us to hold to the oral traditions taught by the Apostles in 2 Thessalonians 2:15, Philipians 4:6, 1 Corinthians 11:2, and 2 Thessalonians 3:6. When I brought these verses from Scripture admonishing us to oral tradition to your attention in this debate, you proposed that all of these oral traditions were eventually "enscripturated" which gave way to the Church's "normative state" in which Sola Scriptura was possible. Where, in Scripture, do you find any indication that the early Church's acknowledged adherence to both Scripture and oral Tradition should come to an end? To restate the question a little differently, where in the New Testament does it indicate that the dual expression of the Faith via both Scripture and Tradition will end at any time in the future?
