Race is a scientific concept. Race isn't just about phenotype.
A lot of the things you say is muddy thinking from left-wing/Marxist academia from the last century.
The silliest thing is the idea that "two random people of a different race have more genetic similarity than two of the same race". This is technically true, but your conclusion is just a common statistical fallacy. Its even more true of dog breeds. Yet no one than concludes that dog breeds don't exist.
A race, at its essence, is simply a large extended family that interbreeds to some extent. It isn't 100% clear cut, there are hazy areas and exceptions, but that applies to anything in the world.
